Multiplatinum music icon to host Tulsa’s biggest NYE party inside Hard Rock Live

It’s time for a good, old-fashioned release party for 2024! Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is collaborating with cultural phenomenon and Poison frontman Bret Michaels and dropping 16,000 balloons for Tulsa’s biggest NYE bash on Dec. 31.

The event is free and open to the public, and guests must be 21 or older to attend.

The doors open at Hard Rock Live at 9 p.m. with “All the Cool Kids Presents: DJ Lux with Jeffrey James” performing with DJ 2Legit on the turntables. DJ and record producer Brandon Mashburn, better known as DJ Lux, has produced for many prominent acts and has mixed records for artists like Bruno Mars, U2 and Beyoncé. Jeffrey James is a pop singer, songwriter and composer based in Nashville. He was a featured artist in season two of NBC’s “Songland,” working with One Republic’s Ryan Tedder on a song that would later be used for a campaign by the University of Notre Dame.

At 11:30 p.m., Bret Michaels takes the stage later for a special performance and countdown to the 16,000-balloon drop at midnight inside the venue. As one of the most recognizable figures in music, Michaels is a music icon, reality TV superstar, creative entrepreneur and dedicated philanthropist. Michaels and his band, Poison, are known for generation-defining smash hits like “Every Rose Has Its Thorn,” “Nothin’ but a Good Time,” “Talk Dirty to Me” and more. He’s also known for his TV appearances in “Rock of Love With Bret Michaels” and a winner of NBC’s “Celebrity Apprentice,” among others.

Live music across seven stages in the casino resort will start at noon with DJ Queen Jesseen in the Grand Lobby. DJ Gus will be featured at Amp Bar, starting at 7 p.m. Barrett Lewis gets the Riff’s stage fired up at 4:30 p.m. with DJ Kelevra following at 5:30 and Zodiac at 8 p.m. to midnight.

Track 5. will ring in the New Year with DJ Morgan Ganem getting the party started at 6 p.m. and Travis Marvin performing a free show starting at 8 p.m. Guests can enjoy complimentary hats, horns and tiaras inside Track 5. and Hard Rock Live.
