Queen Bee Lil’ Kim takes the throne at Hard Rock Oct. 17

TULSA, Okla. (July 7, 2026) — A trailblazer in hip hop who helped redefine the role of women in rap, platinum rapper Lil’ Kim is making her Hard Rock Live debut inside Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tulsa on Saturday, Oct. 17, at 8 p.m.

Lil’ Kim has defined her career with her fearless style, unapologetic lyrics and commanding stage presence. Over its course, she has become one of only a handful of female rappers to earn three platinum-certified albums while influencing generations of artists across music and pop culture.

Born Kimberly Denise Jones in Brooklyn, New York, Lil’ Kim overcame a difficult childhood, but her life changed when she met The Notorious B.I.G. (Christopher Wallace). As her mentor, he helped launch her career as a member of Junior M.A.F.I.A. before she emerged as a solo artist with her groundbreaking 1996 debut album, “Hard Core.” The record established her as one of rap’s most distinctive voices and produced several hit singles.

Following the death of The Notorious B.I.G. in 1997, Lil’ Kim continued her success with releases that include “La Bella Mafia” and “The Naked Truth.” The latter earned the prestigious five-mic rating from The Source magazine, making history as one of the publication's most celebrated reviews.

In addition to her music career, Lil’ Kim has appeared in film, television and reality programming while continuing to perform for fans around the world.
